Laddoos are a traditional Indian sweet! They are primarily made from flour and sugar and ingredients such as chopped nuts and/or dried raisins are also added. For Diwali, the traditional Indian holiday, I wanted to make a variation of laddoos that are lavender flavored

Hope you enjoy!
Lavender Coconut Laddoos
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes
Ingredients
1 cup desiccated coconut
1/4 cup condensed milk
2 tsp lavender
1/2 tsp lavender extract
Directions
Add coconut to a pan and dry toast till fragrant and golden brown. Add in a little less than a can of condensed milk to a small bowl and steep with lavender for 10 minutes. Strain and add to the pan. Stir till the mixture thickens and becomes one. Add in lavender extract if you have it at this point. Then, turn off the heat & let it cool just a bit (5-7 minutes till it’s workable with your hands).
In another bowl, add in the a bit more desiccated coconut. While the ‘dough’ is still warm, take chunks, roll it into a bowl with your hand, cover it with the coconut and set it aside. Repeat this step till you’ve finished. Let it rest for about 30 minutes.
