As the temperature drops and there are more gloomy days, I lack less willpower to get up in the morning. This latte will surely help with that, as it is a perfect pick-me up on a dreary day!

A London Fog is essentially a combination of Earl Grey tea with vanilla & steamed milk. In this recipe, I have substituted the vanilla with the lavender and added some honey for some light sweetness. In addition, I have used plant-based milk so if you'd like to substitute that with whole milk for a richer flavor, please feel free to do so!
Lavender London Fog
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
2 bags Earl Grey Tea
1 tsp Culinary Grade Lavender
1 tsp of Lavender Extract
1 tsp of Manuka Honey
1/2 cup Oat Milk
Directions
In a small pot, boil 1/2 cup of water with the Earl Grey Tea bags. Add in your culinary lavender and steep for 5-7 minutes.
Remove the tea bags and pour over a sieve into your mugs. Add in your honey and lavender extract. Stir to combine, and keep aside.
In a frother or using a froth attachment, add in 1/2 cup of milk to your frothing pitcher and froth till doubled in size. Distribute the milk between the two cups.
Notes
- Earl Grey Tea is usually caffeinated, hence the pick me up drink. However, if you'd like this drink to be something you'd drink later in the day, just look for a decaf earl grey tea bag.
- Instead of honey, you can easily substitute equal parts with brown sugar as earl grey is a bit bitter. Taste and iterate to your liking.
- If you don't have lavender at hand, skip the culinary lavender part in step 1 and just add vanilla extract in place of the lavender extract.
