I mean just LOOK at that color though. This creamy and delectable spread is SO good y’all. It is actually more savory than expected, but still has a hint of sweetness from the pumpkin.

It is an amazing hummus variation and is perfect for the fall season! Hope you give it a try!
Pumpkin Hummus
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
1 can pumpkin puree
1/2 can drained and dried chickpeas
Juice from 1/4 lemon
3 cloves garlic
2 tablespoon Tahini
Seasoning: salt, pepper, za’atar to taste & cayenne, thyme, pumpkin pie spice - 1 tsp
Garnish: pecans, sage leaves, olive oi
Directions
Add pumpkin puree to your food processor with chickpeas, zest from 1/2 lemon, juice from 1/4 of a lemon, garlic, tahini, and seasoning. Blend till everything is combined.
Add in 1/4 cup of EVOO. Blend till creamy & smooth. Lastly, iterate your seasoning to add what’s missing or what it needs more of. To serve, add a handful of pecans, herbs, and a drizzle of olive oil.
