Doesn't this bowl make you want to travel to a warm tropical island with glorious beaches?! ...no? just me?! Well, this smoothie bowl is definitely something worth waking up to.

The base is just one ingredient, and most of the time is focused on the presentation. It is actually easier to make than it looks, and turns out so beautiful every time! Enjoy 💛
Tropical Mango Smoothie Bowl
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
Base
1.5 cup frozen mangoes - semi-thawed for 10-20 minutes
1/4 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk of your choice)
1 tbsp honey
Toppings
2 tbsp of coconut flakes
1/4 cup homemade dark chocolate granola (recipe found here)
1/4 banana sliced
1/8 tsp chia seeds for garnish
Directions
Add mango chunks, almond milk, and honey to a high speed blender and blend till combined.
Transfer the smoothie to a medium bowl. Add your toppings carefully in a backwards 'C shape' starting from the right side (or left) of the bowl. Start off with granola, coconut, banana, and finish off with a sprinkling of chia seeds.
Notes - Keep in mind that smoothie bowls to not add to much water. Smoothie bowls in general need to be a thicker consistency. If you add too much liquid, you’re going to just make it a smoothie and then you might as well drink from the bowl lmao.
- Sometimes, I like to add in some other tropical fruit such as 1/2 diced pineapple and banana. Make sure both are semi frozen as well, else the bowl will become watery.
